Using Fathom Finch
Fathom Finch is a boating destination database and discovery platform. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms. You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account.
Place information is not a guarantee
Place details on Fathom Finch come from a mix of automated extraction, business-provided sources, and boater submissions, each reviewed before becoming part of a place's trusted record. Conditions on the water change — depths, fees, hours, and access can shift without notice. Always use your own judgment, verify critical details (especially depth and access) independently before relying on them, and never treat Fathom Finch as a substitute for official charts, local knowledge, or your own seamanship.
Content you submit
If you submit a correction, photo, or other content, you confirm you have the right to share it and grant Fathom Finch a license to display it on the platform. We review submitted content before it becomes visible to others and may decline to publish anything that's inaccurate, inappropriate, or violates these terms. What is and isn't allowed, and how to report something, is set out in our community standards.
Account termination
You may stop using Fathom Finch at any time, and you can delete your account yourself from your profile. Deleting closes the account immediately and removes it permanently after 30 days; what we delete and what we keep is set out in the privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll update the date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
